Default Not even a Starview Clone

Hi,
can anyone tell me where this box originated or what company sells them? I bought it from a neighbour (in Surrey) who got it from a bloke down the pub.
The make of the box is "Select a View" and the model is a "View FTA 500".
The system information is Starview, API ver 2.57e_E, Boot ver:7.0, 16th Aug 2006.
It came with a cloned remote and as it is running clone safe software I guess I can only use software for cloned boxes, unless anyone knows any different.
Any help would be appreciated.
Ken

Nice name, "select a view" I wonder what goes through peoples heads when they are thinking of names for clones
