Default Problem with Hannspree 37" - Blue Tint

Hello, my first post here and im in need of abit of help.

I recently bought a Hannspree 37" HDTV from Dabs.com - everything worked great apart from some media not displaying properly on the TV.

DVD Player using SCART gives a strange blue tint when using it.

Virgin Media using the same SCART displays fine.

Xbox 360 using the same SCART displays fine.

Xbox 360 using HDTV Component connections (Red, green, blue) gives the same strange tint.

PC connection using VGA connection displays fine

Really strange huh? I dont know if its some kind of setting thats making the screen go blue but I have tried hundreds of different combinations and there always seems to be a blue overlay making gaming and dvd watching impossible.

Anyone know whats happening?

i have the same tv and have never had a problem with it. i used to have the dvd player through scart and there was no problem here. have you set your dvd player and xbox to pal-i or nstc? the only problem i can think of that ive had is, i use my tv as a pc screen and when i shut the pc down the tv turns off and the light on the tv goes amber, sometimes the tv cannot be turned back on from this state. ive tried the power button the tv and remote and still nothing, i have to uplug and plug it back in. if i turn my pc back on the tv comes on no problem. it doesnt happen all of the time though and for £369 for a 37" hdtv i'm not gonna complain.

The PAL settings are correct so I dont think its that thats causing the problem. Its still causing a blue overlay - doing my head in..

Could this be an internal problem with the TV itself?
