10_04_08 Firmware patch Max Blue not working

Hi

Started to get calls from friends across the midlands ( Birmingham, Leicester ) last night 19.04.08 reporting that newly flashed UFL_Max_Blue_10_04_8.rar machines had stopped working again.

Returned home ( Nottingham ) and mine to had stopped working, input codes from BigMAQ and all is ok again.

Anyone else out there seeing similar issues ?

Note all sets had been flashed and were working with the fix for nearly a week with no issue.

I can only tell you that my Blue auto-updated without problem yesterday (Fife in Scotland). I was going to do another Blue this morning for friend's father-in-law. Maybe I'll wait to see other replies!

Working fine for me through the last 2 key rolls (thurs,Fri).

Check your EMM Capture is enabled mine was switched off ( NT* )

To enable emulation:
Press menu, language settings - ok, 1968 - ok, and this will show a couple of extra options.
Emulation enable/disable
EMM Capture enable/disable

Don't forget to 'save and exit'

Mine went off today even though I updated the firmware last week. I noticed that the EMM was disabled so I re-enabled that and then I went into the menu and pressed the yellow button and noticed that the provider box along with the key1 and key0 boxes were all zero again so I just typed in the provider box 5401 and after a few seconds all the chanells came back.. Looks like V..M.. are trying something else as well as rolling the codes..

up and working again now however will have to wait for our friendy friends to roll the codes to see if effective.

Every time you press menu yellow the codes will be 0's. EMM capture is used for smart cards iirc so no need to be enabled. Also im in Mansfield and my codes updated no problem yesterday

Hi,

I agree with the comnets above about EMM turned off.
What i found is that people are switching the boxes off froim the wall overnight.
This defaults the EMM back to disable so you have to manully enable it everytime.

Bit of a pain but thats been the probem for me.

EMM capture does not need to be enabled it is only for use with a smart card. But emulation needs to be enabled
