I dont know if it will work but I am going to download the crypto firmware to my starview box. I take it is the same way as the latest update. If this is incorrect please let me know.

Its will show as the same version as its "Patched" there are two versions of cryptstar one for clones called cryptstar clonesafe and one called cryptstar genuine !!!
Also if your inputting keys with an old file and you still have key emu on then the minute you save the last key it will change again due to the key emu trying to update thus setting a false byte on the key .

If you have a clone download the clonesafe and flash that to the box with a null modem cable
If you have a genuine flash it to the box with a null modem cable.
If your unsure just flash the clonesafe as it works on both boxes.

The files in cryptstar are bin files these are "flashed" to the box to allow it to update, remember thos once you have flashed it you will need to do a channel scan for your area then save them, once thats done press menu 1570 and go down to key emu and turn it too on.
Your starview will then AU without issue.
