HI,
Can anyone give me some advice about my Black Eurovox max 2008, After I saved my .cdf to my PC I flashed the box with the april update and then loaded the channels back to the box but now I am getting a no "signal message" on all the channels. The power scan cannot find any active transponders. If I revert back to the October patch and do a scan, all the channels appear again but the only ones that work are the big 5 channels the rest need the April patch. I tried all the connections and SR's but still nothing. Please help as I have looked in all the forums and tried all solutions for similar problems but still nothing. Thanks.

hi 5050, the new firmware for the max v appears to have something in it which only effects certain boxes which gives you NO SIGNAL and consequently finds no transponders/channels. at present we are awaiting a fix for this but do nt know when this will be? in the meantime flash your box with oct 15 -07 firmware along with your cdf file, download the latest keys from bigmaq,(you will have to manually imput theese as/when rolled), until we have a fix.

If I were in that position I would be looking for CDF for my area in the stickies for the forum and downloading that to see if that worked for a start ...

Hi. You might try this.(my reply to another issue but also seems to work for this one).
I had a similar problem. I then decided to erase all the channels, reset the symbol rate to 6.887, re-ran the power scan and left it for two mins after the scanning had finished. All back to normal. Let me know if this works 4u. |

Hi, thanks I will download the 18 april patch from bigmaq which I heard should sort it out and leave it alone after the power scan. If the patch works I'll let you know.
