About 12 months ago I purchased a 80cm dish, motor and Technomate 7755 reciever. The dish came with a standard mount (L shape) but I purchased a seperate mount from the installer to get more clearance. It's basically a pole which extends above the gutter with 2 brackets to hold it to the wall.
Anyway, I have no need for any of this kit anymore and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any decent websites where I may be able to sell everything? I've had no luck in the local classifieds which isn't surprising. And could anyone give me a guide as to what I can be expecting to make from selling these? As you can probably guess I'm no expert when it comes to sat systems so I have no idea as to what I should be looking for. I'm looking to get shut of the whole lot - dish, reciever, motor and mounts. Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
You would have to provide more details for the system, eg make of dish, motor etc, and perhaps a few features of the receiver if you wanted to. There is a classified section on this site if you wanted to stick it in there, else of course there's eBay. As for prices , when I buy something 2nd hand I would base the price on the cost new, and think about what you would be willing to pay for it now. My first reaction would be £75 but I don't know enough about your receiver. For example you can get a complete motorised system for about £150 (TM5400CI+) new, so it depends if your receiver offers anything special. Robbo ![]() |

Thanks for your reply.
The dish is in storage atm so can't get a look at it right now but as far as I remember it was just a bog standard dish and I don't recall seeing any make or model on it. Can't say I've looked properly though so I'll have to check. Same goes for the motor. As for the reciever - 2 viaccess slots, 2 ci slots, DiSEqC 1.2, USALS, blind search function, stores 5000 channels. Again just your bog standard box. Cost me in the region of £250 but obviously that was before the loss of Art Sports which has brought the prices down by the looks of things. |

I'm not overly familar with your receiver but it may be patchable to make it multicam like the TM1500's
![]() You will then be able to use a Conax Digitalb card in it. That will at least allow you to use it for the footie again ![]() ![]() Nano

Satellite equipment has fallen greatly in price in the last couple of years - Maplin was selling some new B-grade receivers (probably returned stock) for 20 quid recently.

![]() That and the fact I'm almost a complete novice and after the installer left I basically left the dish pointing at hotbird and stuck to Art Sports. Hadn't a clue what I was doing. |
