My Eurovox max is just new out of the box. Bought about 6 months ago - but not set up until now as have been away.

Have set up another box at my girlfriends fine so know what im doing...

However my box doesnt pick any channels up on powerscan. It says 8% most of the time. IS my box broken and/or what can i do to fix it please. Any help appreciated! Cheers. Matt

try it at your girlfriends house to make sure the box is faulty. if it works there you may have been cut off from the green box in the street. unless you have some sort of v*rgin sub?

he had the 8% problem and fixed it with different s/w

Your not alone mate, Im in the exact same situation. Bought my EV Max 2008 last Oct but only just set up. Scan is ok picking up 230 channels but after being on for 10 mins all channels break up and signal goes down from 75% to 8%. Please let me know if you find a fix and I'll do the same. cheers.

i had this problem with my box tuner problem had to get a new box trust me your box is fecked sorry ,but i have seen this a lot with the eurovox lateley,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the dreaded 8%

I had this exact problem with one of our boxes a couple of months back.

I'm sorry to confirm what gillieboy stated but your box is fecked, get a replacement from the guy you bought it off.
