Why does some Satellite Channels haves only sound and no picture?

They are either Radio channels or the Picture is encrypted

A lot of broadcasts encrypted in Powervu have sound but no picture.

Are there any channels in particular you are refering to

yeah i mean the Hallmark Channels on the Satellite Sirius they have a sound without any picture and their frequency is 12.188 GHz H, Symbol Rate 27500, FEC 7/8

As i thought they are encrypted in PowerVu. The transmissions are totally secure and can only be opened using a dedicated PowerVu receiver

Yup - nano is correct - PowerVu'd

You also find some Asian channels on Hotbird that have the video in the clear and the audio scrambled!
