f**ked pace box? just black screen

my mates pace box needed re doing. i redid his fun card, but for some reason this reset the net id to 00000. so i followed a tut for net id from downloads...

once done, the box restarted itself with EAAS and LAIT flashing on the display. i waited a while and channel 999 started up, but only the sound, no picture. instaed i get a blank screen everywhere except engineers menu...

dont even get ntl or virgin logos on loading...

Sounds like a loose scart connection m8...
If you live in a pure n*l area, then the net id should reset itself anyways, once you put in your programmed card...
Of course, now using the appropriate fix 4 your area!

god knows what it was, wasn't scart. i could still see engineer menu... i just reset and then re net id'd it and now the network id side is cool and the picture is back...

It means it was most likely taking an update the eaas means erase and i cant remember what the lait is but its normal to see that during an update.
