1000d Or 1500ci

HI all quick question

will my silentgold 99 motor work with the tm 1000d or 1500ci

hope it does coz am getting on and dont want to have to buy another motor

also which is best 1000d or 1500ci for patching and reciving the most chanels with keys

the back of the tm5000dapci has four slots for four wires hope the tm 1000d or 1500ci does

I'm not sure but I think your motor may be a 36V motor.

If so you would need a V-box to convert from Diseqc1.2 to 36V.



The 1000D amd the 1500 will give you exactly the same channels. Howeve the 1500CI+ has a CAM and a card slot, so can be used with an official subscription. Also you could use a Diablo or similar CAM with it as well.

The 1500 is a better choice. But if you were buying new, you would be better off with the TM5400CI+ as it is an upgraded version of the 1500 with USB and 10,000 channel storage.


The 4 slots for wires are for the 36V control to the motor.

If you don't want to pay for a V-box, about £30 you could use the old receiver to move the motor until you change your mind
