Default How do connect dbox through a router

Please can someone post a tut on how to update a dreambox through a router. thanks

Don't know about the Dreambox sorry. Perhaps try another thread correctly posted to the Dreambox guys who should be able to help you?

You connect a dreambox exactly the same as the d-box. The configuration/menu setting is exactly the same as well. So just follow a D-Box tutorial if you can't find a Dreambox specific one.

Obviously Neutrino is different to Enigma, but an Enigma dreambox has exactly the same menu as an Enigma D-box

wot is the differnce between enigma and neutrino i have neutrino BLADE QUAD set up on nokia dbox2, wanted to install enigma image but not sure if i shud because not sure if the menus will be same and not sure if it is easy to use like neutrino or if it will mess box up. PLEASE HELP AND ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND WORRYS ABOUT ENIGMA,
APPRECIATE IT!

You are perfectly OK to use enigma image on dbox2. Look for SS Enigma 3, this is a great image and fairly recent, and there are AU versions about with g*box. The menu system is a bit different, but you should become familiar with it in no time.

Whatever image you try always make a backup 1st !!

Thanx for your help m8, jus wondering can i still reflash with crossover cable using FTP (flash one partition without bootloader) with this enigma image?

Appreciate your help thanx

You flash it exactly the same way you flash a neutrino image. You need to remember that you must convert your neutrino services to enigma - use bouquetter or bouquet wizard to do this then FTP them to var/tuxbox/config/enigma.
