Default BigMaq Toolbar - is it safe?

Hi All,

After the recent problems we have all encountered courtesy of VM, no doubt all of us now have the BigMaq toolbar installed.

I have been told today buy a friend of mine who talks to the the biggest supplier of boxes in the country fairly regularly that if you have the toolbar installed you should remove it as you can be tracked, which it turn will let VM know you have a box otherwise why would you have the toolbar!

I find it quite hard to believe myself but would appreciate any thoughts on this?

Cheers.

Seems problem-free OP - none of my Norton, Macafee, Adaware or Spybot apps have detected any issue (various PCs/laptops)
