can you turn the autosort off with the 18/4 firmware?on the march update with the autosort there was amenu to turn it off, when i loaded the early april one to fix updating codes, i cant see where you could turn it off, when ive had to do update channels it buggers the favs up. just wondered if any of you guys that have loaded the latest firmware could tell me if you can this time, if not i prob wont bother a box is working fine other than that

Hi, yes you can turn off before rescan, just posted this on another thread, not sure how to send you link so here goes again ..
Try the following, it turns off fav.sort before you do a scan. Unfortunately it is one shot only, you have to remember to do this everytime you need to re-scan. Take care if you press OK inadvertantly it mucks it all up again :-( 1. Menu 2. Fast installation 3. Red Button for advanced install 4. Arrow down to fav.sort 5. Arrow right to select off Take care NOT to press OK at any stage 6. Press exit on remote 7. This will take you to ch/frequency table Now carry on as normal Select frequency or frequencies Blue button for manual scan. Good luck and hope it helps. |

You don't need to do the turning auto sort off bit.
Just go into "Fast Install" and instead of pressing red like it asks you to just press "Exit" you'll then be taken to the frequency table where you continue as normal. I think the turning auto sort off bit may be a red herring. Last edited by bhedge; 23-04-08 at 09:52 PM. |
