Hello from newbie member, can anyone tell me what would happen or is it possible to put the new max v latest firmware on my eurovox max 2006 model, my box at present has the latest blue firmware on it and works a treat, (thanks to all on here) would it brick it????? my father has the new euro vox black box and his menue ect i would say is a lot better than mine. please advice Cheers

You can't put the MaxV firmware on the Max - you'll get a message 'firmware not fit for receiver'

If you want the nicer screens that much then you'd need to buy the newer box

I think this has been done by mistake and when trying to flash it comes up with an error message about being incompatible.
