Default Golden Oldies........ anyone remember?

TARZAN - the TV series starring Ron Ely as Tarzan and Manuel Padilla Jr as Jai?

It was filmed/broadcasted in the mid to late 1960's.

I recently did a search to find out why such a classic series like this has never been re-introduced to our screens.
I found out that the original tapes had been DESTROYED so there is no hope of it ever being digitally reproduced

I found a couple of fleabay offers for the entire series (all 57 episodes) which obviously someone had put to DVD from some very old VHS tapes.
The quality was poor as you could expect and no chronological order

Damn shame..... arguably the best screen Tarzan of them all - gone forever!
