Hi Guys

I've just got a hold of a Pace DiTV 1000. and I would greatly appreciate answers to these questions.

1) Can they be modified

2) How do you cut talkback on them ?

3) How do you obtain BK and IRD ?

Yes htye can be modded,
BK and IRD can most likely be got out of the DATABASE (not sure if theres a link on here if not try bigmaqs toolbar.
Talkback involves removing the tuner from the box and cutting a track inside ,simple enough to do,

Take a look at the novice angel guide theres a tut in there and pics of the 1000 TB cut,

I've just been looking in the Private FTA and can't find anything called "Novice Angel Guide" !!!

Also how can I check the database ?

Yes the talkback is the same as the 4001 altho slightly different component location,im not sure if the novice guide is on here mate perhaps one of the oldies could confirm,ive not been here long mate no my ususal haunt !

Its called pace cable guide in fta, similar to 4001 pics in guide.

cheers mate also the OP is looking for the DB link if its here? if not then the one on bigmaq's is good altho there are a few versions out there with different tallies.

buy a pnp led simm.they are good for getting the ird and bk from these box's.

you can cut talkback only by removing the tuner unit.not hard realy.just unscrew the nut at the back thats on the cable connection.then inside just gently waggle the tuner off the 10pin connection it is connected to.take the lid off it to expose its insides and cut the correct track.

pics of the track to cut are in the novice angle guide.

get FLASH TESTER to convert the lights you will see so you get your ird and bk,the ird should be in eng menu anyways but,the bk you can get from the motherboard using the pnp led simm.

i just did one today it was a phaseb.

the pnp led simm is easy to use and if i dare say so myself a great piece of kit.

There is one in downloads, i usually use the quick checker in big maq too.

I allready have a PnP LED SIMM. I have done many Pace Di4001NC boxes before, but like I said before this will be my first DiTV 1000.

can someone just confirm If everything is EXACTLY the same as Di4001NC ??
