Greetings all
Does any one know where i can find a wiring diagram to make a female rs232 to USB cable? or a supplier who can provide one at a decent enough price. I nearly bought a serial to usb converter from maplins but it cost £25+
Thanks in advance for all who can spread some light on the matter.

Give ebay a try theres hundreds on there mate,some will work some wont they are tempremental things,i got one that is a blue connector either end and a silver cable between and it cost about a fiver on ebay it works fine,theres no name on it tho,but youshould be able to find something like it on there,try USB/SERIAL adapter,
This is very similar to if not the same as mine,type in this number in the search on ebay 230245553444

Not sure if you caught the edit i did there mate but check out that number on ebay, also if its for updating a box then youll need a NULL modem cable also this will then plug into the adapter and to the box also,
Also no probs re the quick reply mate hope it helps
