Please help - Very Stuck With Funcard

Hi everyone

I have been trying to program my FunCard4 for about a week now. Although a lot of people have been helping me, I still cannot see light at the end of the tunnel. Couls anybody answer any of the following - I am in the warrington / widnes area of cheshire.

I have downloaded a number of files from BigMAQ, but not sure which of them is the flash file.
Is there a way of telling if my stb is excw of puren*l, as it is a pace d1000 badged a n*l but inside has cw?
When I create an exteep and try to write it back, Cas Studio states the hex file is too large - is it ok to convert this to bin and then write?

I am sorry if any of these questions are very basic, but I really am stuck at the moment.

When you insert card click on prussian card 2 in bar at top, you will see a pic of fun 4 in corner, it always auto detects as a fun 2 thats why its telling you the file is too large.
you must be ex c&w as 1000 dont work in pure ntl.
the flash in B/M you need is card fixes 8th april ex c&w Funcard AU fix.
