You shouldnt need to change your ip using image flash assistant!!!

Hi all,

I've been trying to use IFA to reflash my box as it won't boot any more (stuck at "Loading Kernel" stage).

I followed the steps mentioned, and I'm using an image off the disk I got with my box.

The problem is it isn't working; and my German isn't good enough to work out why!

I get the "Boot Manager by Field" screen, by the log on it never progresses past -

I also get this is the box at the top, but it's been running for a couple of hours now without progress-

i need some help please. im trying to fix my friends box.

iv downloaded the ifa from hallenberg, but i havnt got a flash image and not sure what to do... i dont have a null cable modem, but have a crossover cable. is that all i need...

can someone please explain what to do, as this guide doesnt explain properly.

please help me thanks

You have to get a image which your box suits you some box's got 1 chip and some got 2.which box you got mate?
