Default Updated firmware, But still not auto-rolling?

I updated my Maxv with the new firmware yesterday after the previous temp firmware stopped working, But unfortunately for me my box is still not updating itself and I have had to manually enter the codes last night aswell as tonight, Now I reset to factory settings and downloaded the firmware again tonight from Bigmaq, But still no joy...

The funny thing is I fixed all my mates boxes the same way and they are all working, But typically mine is the one which is not working, Not sure what to do next? Has anyone had this problem or a similar one? Or does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Thanks in advance any help you can give

Seen this for a couple of peeps. Try this:

Menu/Language Settings and key in 19681968 on your remote. Find your cable provider and highlight the first line of their key. Press yellow button (Default Key) and Exit back to Language Settings. Key in 1968 (once) and you will see two extra options appear on the list for Emulation and EMM Capture - make sure these are both enabled. Press red button to Save and blue button to Save & Exit.

'Code Updating' message will be there but should only last a couple of minutes while the box sorts itself out.

You only need to do this once ever.

Don't forget if you turn the power off at the mains you will need to turn the emm capture, emulation back to on as it resets it's self to off

Emulation is always enabled by default, EMM capture is not required. Default key is a way of kick starting a roll if it is stuck in a loop.

This might sound stupid, But where is the default key?

When you manually enter the codes: menu, language settings, 1968, 1968 on the bottom left of your screen you should see four coloured options, of which, the last one, yellow is the default key. Only appears when your doing a manual update.

Exact same issue here. Followed your instructions and its still just sitting there trying to update. Getting frustrated at this stage :-(

Yes that did not work for me either, But Satsmo advice of just hitting the "default key" worked for me, Now my box is auto-rolling and working perfectly, You should try that

Btw thanks again Satsmo your a star
