Default elivation motor

is there such a thing

i have a 90cm dish with a jaeger 99 motor

would like to know if there is anything to motorise the elivation

Of course there is, but why would you need one? You can use a small 36V actuator, but you will need some way of driving it. I have never seen the need from one myself, but it can be done. I am sure that Nano or AS will know more than me about it.

Yes, you can get them, they are usually for inclined orbit satellites, not sure about one that could be used in conjunction with your motor though.

Why do you want one?

yeah its just the satellite will be going quite high up once sorted

so dont want to be going up and down the ladder

You shouldn't need to very much, once it is setup properly.

Robbo is right, there are very few satellites which are an an inclined orbit and more to the point there is virtual nothing of interest on them.

Which satellite is it that you say goes up and down, there are some which are moving in the one direction, bit I don't recall any going up and down?
