Sony Digital Camera
I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-w55 camera, which I was using with XP. The CD that came with the camera (Ver.1.5 ImageMixer) also contains the Sony driver SPVD-010 USB DRIVER 3-078-942-06 for this camera model. This driver is OK for all versions of windows but probably not for Vista (indeed, it does not mention Vista), as I bought the camera about 3 years ago. I have not connected the camera to the pc and see what happens, but is it possible that Vista might not need special drivers for digital cameras? I have searched all Sony camera drivers, (about 250 of them), but none of them is specified as Vista compatible. I just can not believe that Sony has not got Vista compatible drivers. Any advise please? How do I use this camera on Vista? |
