Ideally the Eurovox needs a signal of around 80% give or take a little, or you will get problems, have you got the box plugged directly into the incoming cable feed ? and most importantly is the feed a subscribed one ? because if not, anything down that cable is in the lap of the Gods so to speak .........

Which firmware update did you flash onto the box, the 10/4 or the 18/4?

Some people had the same problem with the 10/4 f/w but the issue was resolved by flashing with the newer version.

isn't 8% signal a known fault and can be sent back to the seller?

Hi ,

Go to tv settings and turn the signal booster on , save and exit . This somehow can fix the problem . do your scan and all should be ok . Failing that i would flash it again first the the weak signal kuro and then with the latest 18/4/08 kuro .You should be ok.

i had a problem with the newer version and reverted back, all is fine now. 3 max v boxes cocked up with the 18/4/08 f/w. only findind a few channels and freezing. back to full power on 10/4/08. in my opinion the new max v f/w dont work.
