I like the sound of not having to take my card how difficult would something you describe be? I have already have played around with the cable version of the dreambox 500

Yes the Dreambox takes a lot of getting used to but in the end it is very worthwhile.

If you have a permanent internet connection at home and in your holiday home then Dreamboxes at home and in the holiday home can be interconnected such that you would not even need to take your card with you.

If you already have experience of the 500C then all you need is a dreambox and router at each end and a bit of file adding to the two boxes.

you can use you sky card in any Sky box as loong as you dont want to watch movies or sport.

Yes indeed - lets just clarify this for anyone still confused.

The basic family pack channels will work in any sky box - the cards are not paired to one box at this level

Premium content (sky movies, sky sport, additional asian channels, adult services etc) will not work with the card in a non paired box - the cards are married to one box at the premium level
