Hi.just found this site this morning.At that age when learning is tough.Got a Fortec Passion and managed to set up a 1.1 motorised dish(not easy).Had a Diablo cam and a Cas plus3 delivered today,half of the stuff seems to be a foreign language.Any one help a pensioner?

Hopefully I can help you with your cam.
First you need to install the drivers for your Cas 3 programmer. Go to duolabs.com/support and click on the download link on the left hand side.
Click on Cas Studio 8.3a, download and install this file.
Once done connect your Cas 3 to your computer using the USB cable, your computer should now find the device and install the drivers.
If it doesn't please post back and I'll try to help after I finish work.
The Diablo Cam can be programmed with two pieces of sotware, Stealth files and Underworld files.
The latest of which is Stealth 248 or Underworld 106, both can be found on the internet.
If you go into the UK Cable section, of techwatch, Private FTA sub section, and read the first two sticky threads by lincsat you will see a link to satellite, just copy and paste this into your browser, you will see the password in the sticky threads.
The software you want is in the Diablo folder.
You will need winzip to unpack it.
Is your Diablo Cam version 2.2 or the latest version 2.3, you can see this information on the back of the cam.
Underworld 106 currently provides the following packages:
Premiere 19E
Polsat, and Sex View 13E
Digi TV and Canal Digital 1W.
Stealth 248 currently provides the following packages:
Premiere 19E
Polsat, TPS and Sex View 13E
Digi TV 1W.

To program your Diablo is quite easy.
Insert your cam into the CI slot on the programmer.
Start up the Cas software, and click on the Cam Module tab, click on the Diablo icon and then on the second Diablo Icon, this will start the Diablo software.
Click on the little icon, with 3 dots, at the end of the File Name Address bar, and navigate to underworld106.dup or stealth248.dup, whichever option you prefer.
Click open and the Start Update icon should now have a green light.
Click Start Update and wait until your cam is programmed.
Remove the Cam, insert it into your receiver and access the CAM menu using your receivers remote control.
Enter the menu and configuration folder.
Alter the settings to the following:
Auto PMT ON
Emulators ON
N2 AU ON
Emulators priority. 1 Emu 2 Cards
Fixed CW ON
Your Cam should now work on the packages mentioned.

Hi again,Im stumped.installed Cas studio,formated cam fine.went to sticky threads and got toolbar down.dont know where to find Diablo folder.I must apologise for being a old slow muppet,can i get pointed in the right direction please?

I don't own a diablo cam but maybe I can help get you going again.

Have you found the diablo folder to download stealth 248 or underworld 106?

There is now a sticky thread, Download Link, in the Satellite Help & Support forum.
Copy and paste this link into your browser, you should then see a password box, which is mentioned in the thread, type this in and you will see the Diablo Cam folder.
All files are zipped so you will need winzip to unpack them, once done you load either stealth248.dup or underworld106.dup, whichever you prefer.

Many thanks to Mickha for his patience.Got sorted with his kind help.When I am setting cam up in receiver what does CAIDS mean in the config menu?When I am using cam why is it ok on some channels but others have video but no audio or vice versa|?How long should I wait for a channel to become visible?Sorry to be a pain but a bloke has to learn somehow.

You are not going to be able to open every channel, currently we have some very good packages open.
Using Stealth 248
Premiere 19E
Polsat, and TPS 13E
Digi TV 1w
Using Underworld 106
Premiere 19E
Polsat 13E
Digi TV and Canal Digital 1W.
For TPS to open you need to tune your receiver to Sci Fi France, or other channel using 10873 V 27500, to allow the keys to update, once done you can browse the rest of the channels.

The cam does have a tendency to freeze up if flicking between channels and packages to quicly, but just removing and re-inserting the cam should get it working again.
Initially give it a few minutes to update the keys.
