Di4001N..Stuck Tune...Then no Channels

Wonder if anyone can help?

1. I had problems with this box firstly it was stuck in tune..so following these instructions:

press those two buttons and power on your box. wait for LED to switch its position from top to bottom. now release the buttons. your system will boot in normal mode without and tune problem!!!

2. Then it said upgrading.Digital TV upgrade etc..

Then I get this message: You channels are currently unavailble with error number M043, suggesting reconnecting the cables etc etc..

3. Finally the box stays on channel Zero. I cant change channels, if I do after enter the 3rd digit (e.g. 101) it goes back to Zero.

If I restart it goes back to tune.

Are you sure you have a good signal ? you are in pure ntl area ?

I'm in pure NTL area. Signal is good, as the V+ box seems to work fine.

I thought maybe the tunner is broken?

Also the NetID is showing as *****.

Any ideas?

I'm having problems resetting my Netid. It says ****. I removed the red jumper for 1 min. Got into Eng Menu...I was expecting 09999?

I wrote inteep using my netid and pin, using my programer I loaded the card..inside Eng Menu again and still it shows as *****.

Thats why when I reboot my Pace box it goes into Tune, coz it doesnt have the netid set correct.

Someone help me reset my NetID, as I dont get ANY Channels and I cant change channel it is stuck on channel Zero!

Its still stuck in tune with **** showing, have you read the stuck in tune guide.

I've been looking for the stuck tune guide for ages now. I cant find it in the cable backup tv area.

Any ideas where I can download it from. Whats the file called?

try this and i am sure it will work. its not official but works

switch off the box from mains
hold ch+ and select button and switch on the box.
hold it for few seconds while the led's swap its position.
release both the buttons.
the box will say VM powering up and there you go.

Let me know what happens
Thats what i do all the time and some of the people on this forum have tried it as well and it works

Goodman, thanks for the suggestion. I tried this and it does by pass the "tune" message but when I go in the eng menu the netid says ****, secondly if I dont go into engmenu and release the buttons, it say upgrading to digital bah bah bah....then I only get the Channel Zero.

I cant change to any other channels at all. Looks like I will have to somehow change the netId.

I'm downloading the stuck in tune guide.

Mod: How do I upload this into the download area?

Its already in there, the temp link is the backup files which is not complete.
