dreambox c problem

hi just wondering if anyone here can helpme , im fixing my brothers dreambox c (i have a dreambox s which im ok with) anyway , I have downloaded the 3 roms i need (7 , 10 and 11) and i have even used dreambox control centre to ftp them accross , but still it wont open any encrypted stuff
do i need to (chmood) any of them .
i have a really basic knowledge so if you think of anything please help ,

you must have eighther evocam or mgcamd enabled via the blue button and in the camd menu auto update should also be on unplug box restart goto fta then encripted wait till it starts should only be about 5 mins.

where is the option for that (ie where is the options for the cams ) its
got evocam and mgcamd installed

all sorted
just ftp 'd the magic files (dbox) into keys and rebooted
