Same here, I only prefer the PC at the moment because I'm more familar with it. BUT I am very interested in getting a Mac soon, I would be using it for movie editing and general work so no games really which highlights the problems of compatibility with the Macs.

My first three computers were PC's ... always had problems with viruses and downloading the new virus patch....which made things to be even worse...but the games were good.....through high school i was in tv productions and it was all mac's senior year the teach got a wish list and on that wish list was four power mac G5's i literally could not take my hands off these machines...all of the years we were using imovie and garage band...not we got to use soundtrack....final cut pro...i missed that to much and went out and bought me one .... BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE !!! (KNOCK ON WOOD) i have yet to have a serious problem... tho i was a serious gamer online... not to many new releases for mac...so just went to my PS2 and everything was fine... but i def recommend the MAC if you walk into a apple store im telling you, you will want one.... not just a power mac but the lap tops, and other awesome computers....not to mention the ipod..... seeing that i was used to the mac setup it took a while for my parents to get used to it.... seeing that there computer just got fryed by something .... but my next purchase is going to be a IBOOK
*another thing* when you buy a new comp at the apple store you might as well get the microsoft office...being in college it really comes in handy |

PC. It's simple. I know how to use it and most games and software is available on PC.
Now Apple is good for video editing but I don't do that. Apple also has that annoying "eep" "Quack" sounds that drive me nuts. Skinny

I am a PC guy it is what I know... But, I think the design and interface on the MAC are far superior... The problem is the amount of software developed for the Mac blows donkeys...

PC all the way. The only time I would ever be caught dead using a mac is when Im at the school library or editing video. Final Cut Pro is the shizz and I think they should make it for PC.

I was PC person all my life until i started video editing and switched to Mac. Now that I've switched I will never go back. I love these systems....and for the guy who said he hated the "quack" sounds....you can change the sound settings just like you can in your PC.

That's why I need to move to Apple - music and video editing. Some of the software I really need to use is Apple-only, so it's simply a matter of time before I do the switch - though will most likely get a dual boot Apple first, to help wean me from Windows.
