Default Bk Problem

I have a pace 1010t phase 1b and have unlocked the card that came with it. I have got the Bk Number from the card and am using the ird from the engineers menu. Wrote info to funcard 4 but only receive fta channels. When looking in the menu again card status says please wait, I think Bk may be wrong is there a way of checking the BK number.

Thanks in advance

What did you use to creste the external eep file??
What flash are you using?
Please Wait could mean a few things but can also be present when everything is working fine and not cause a problem!!
The 1010 can be led simm'ed to get the bk other than that theres no way of checking,

Marc

I used toxic then put the bin file on the card as Ext eep. I then used latest tw funcard au fix 14-4-08 as flash file.

I have managed to read the card with xncs software and it confirms the ird Number.
It does not give a box number but shows an ird boot number 16 digits long. Could this be the box number.

Try changing the exteep bin file to hex with swapbinhex.

marc and reddiesel thanks for your reply,

I have now tried it again with the bin file converted to hex file.
Left it to update then tuned to a sub channel I now get you have not subscribed to this channel and the card is acting like the original one, before when I programmed the funcard I was getting channel not available.

Seems like the only solution. Do you know why the card was given a fake bk.

Thanks
