Default Starview/The Box Has Stopped Working.

Hi,

I've had The Box since around January and it's worked relatively fine (it was a bit off in the first few days, turning itself off, but it worked fine when I turned it back on).

I was watching it today and all of a sudden it turns itself off again. Now I can turn the box back on, and it shows the channel numbers (starting at 1 and going up from there), but for some reason, no picture or sound is being sent to my TV.

I've tried a number of things, like attaching it a different TV, turning it off for a while then turning it back on later, unplugging the cables from the box and reattaching them. All to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

No picture or sound? anything being displayed on the screen like scrambled/bad channel??
Any error messages?
Is it a clone or genuine?

What version of firmware is it running?

As it's not a year old can't you send it back, telling them the problems you have from day one.

No picture or anything else. Just the "snow" that you get when you have a channel that nothing is tuned in to. No error messages, how would I know if it is a clone or not? Is there something I can check on the box itself?

How do I find out what Firmware it is running?

I may be able to send it back, I'm not 100% on the return policy from where I bought it from.
