Just do what I did buy a sat compass off southernsatellite ( a member here ) My mum and dad have a caravan and wanted to take there sky system with them (east coast and Cornwall), I have mostly managed to do it here outside the house but dad failed to manage it previously . Got one of those babies off said member, showed him outside the house how to carry on and make sure he didn't get too much elevation.... Bang sorted he arrived at 3pm in Cornwall and within half an hour he had it set up including pole and dish
Sadly he died there 5 days later

Dad was useless with anything technical he struggled with the skyhd box and blueray player lool
Just proves right gear and job sorted
btw dish was £20 from fleebay including twin cable and LNB !! Think the sat finder was £8.... Job done

Thanks,

If the quality is briefly showing 50/60 % then 0% , could trees that are maybe in the line of sight be causing this, or am I still a degree or two out ?

thanks

Unlikely unless its windy and blowing the tree loads, would think if it see's it see's it, I always over did the elevation It's a lot lower then you would imagine, more so in our case being bolted on to the top of the caravan jockey wheel at below eye level
But hey I'm no expert in this field

Its looking good I think.........the quality is constant 50%. The tv is searching for the sats, how long does it take to confirm they have been found on initial setup?
