Default the dish wont move remotely

after haveing a few problems of the installers makeing. ie he forgot to screw back in the cable (this does help) i managed to get 20 satellites in the memory of my TM6900 all fine until saturday when the damm dish would not move to the desired satellite . i managed to get it moveing to the desired satellite moveing it the dish through satellite installation. (on remote) tried resetting the satellites. but still would not move on remote to another satellite any ideas ??? the only thing i can think is that i have not downloded the latest updates. so works fine manually !!!

Hi,
Have you got your usuals set up correctly or have you got it activated? Seems strange that the dish will move with the remote, which means that the motor is OK, but will not work from the box. From what you say it seems to me that the usuals has not been activated or has been and there are no coordinates entered for it. Have a look and make sure that all is well with the usuals.

I can't see how an update would have anything to do with the dish moving, but I do not have that Technomate box, so can't be any more help to you.

Very best regards Wez

Are you using USALS or Diseqc1.2?
