If i use dhcpforce to sniff for macs from my current 2 meg mac that i am using which I got from my mates computer. Will the macs I get be from the area that my current working mac address is from so that I can use them or from the area I am currently in I hope this makes sense

try this... google... virgin media tools.... first page... halfway down it'l tell u what ubr u are on e.g cable.ubr08.sheff.something.
Do the same at your mates, so long as the ubr's are only afew numbers away you can use the mac |
