in eng net id saying ***** should this be the case, bye the way ist stuck on tune , and i have taken the red jumper of etc , still no joy any help plz

I've got the same problem. I've also tried things you have.

I'm trying to locate the stuck in tune guide, but without any luck so far.

Let me know if you find it.

try this and i am sure it will work. its not official but works

switch off the box from mains
hold ch+ and select button and switch on the box.
hold it for few seconds while the led's swap its position.
release both the buttons.
the box will say VM powering up and there you go.

Let me know what happens
Thats what i do all the time and some of the people on this forum have tried it as well and it works

it booted up fine but got , NO CHANNELS AVAILABLE,, IM STUMPED, i think the tuner is ****ed....

clarky 4001 is an old box, afraid well known for having probs.

Have you checked in eng menu if net id is ok and set freq?
