Lightbulb Reviving an old Pace Di 4000-N model

Reviving an old Pace Di 400-N model

After fixing my DBox and Starview couple of weeks ago with the help of you guys I am starting a new adventure. I am going to revive my mate’s Pace Di4000-N.

Here we go…

Half of my headache has been solved because the “box key” and the “IRD number” are written at the bottom of the box. The box has been paired with an “opos” card. Now I can’t go any further because I presume I need a “programmer” to fix the card.

Here are few questions:

  • Can you tell me which is the latest model or which one is the best to use with all the cards out there?

  • Where can I buy one? Any website address would be helpful or if any of you have bought something like that in the past then a recommendation would be nice.

  • Would I be able to use the old Opos card or do I need to buy a new one? If so then which one?

  • Is there a need to get a Jtag/Pogo Jtag and an Unlooper? Might as well get these since its going to come out of my mate’s pocket.

I live in east London area so any shops or websites that can deliver close to my area would save some time.

Thanx for your time for reading this long post. I know I can rely on you guys to put me in the right direction. Thanx in advance.

If I posted in the wrong section then don’t shoot me.

infinity usb phoenix for the reader

unapit or tmc are good for the above also lincsat on here

yes you can use old opus card

might not be worth getting jtag or unlooper depending how you want to experiment, 1 or 2 boxes will get you your money back for the above items

these items are easily available pretty cheap but remember its the knowledge thats priceless

I have cut the talkback on Di4000 N.

Setting > Technical Stuff > DHCP Status --- Return path is off

Also when i press "on demand" button it says : this service isnt available.

So it the cutbalk cut properly.

I am concerned about one thing on "Technical Stuff" page 2

CA IPPV Status : Successful

Is that OKAY because on the other same box its "UNKOWN".
