Come to turn on this afternoon and i have the good old "code updating" message.
The maxv box this is!

Mines updated no problem.Try and unplug it,then on to sly sports.

Mines is Eurovox Max and it is blown :-(
Tried taking the power lead out, counting to 10 and plugging back in but no luck !

Do i need to do something different ?

Had a quick look in Nagravision and the codes have changed but for some reason my box hasn`t recognized them and updated.I`m a patient bloke though so i`ll give it a bit longer before playing about with it.
It`s sat on sly now as well just to give it a boost.

Just tried switching the box on with channel set to Sky Sports1
Still no luck ! :-)

No need to uplug (that will probably disable EMM Capture which you need!!!!!) - if stuck on "Insert Smart Card" just switch it off/on with remote, then leave it on S Sports 1 and be patient until it auto-updates.

This time is no different form the last years - ANY code change has always taken up to 15 mins or so to recapture.

The strange thing is that the EPG is working but no picture !

Out of curiosity,when i went into nagravision the codes are totally different to the ones that are up on Bigmaq,when i have had a look before after a roll they have been the same?

I have also hit the default key button which has put in some new codes,which i presume are the new ones and it is just trying to update itself now?

I have a slightly different problem.

Box has message stating no signal. Is that a problem with the n*l line in or is the box playing up.

Any help grateful
