Is that why the Yanks are so keen to get British stuff for their TV? I can't stand their accents let TV, they are not funny, their cop shows are all so predictable and their documentaries are non starters.

Why would I need yank crap, I can get what I want from loads of satellites, all for free too, no need for that repetitive rubbish that Sly shove down the throats of the fools who pay them for their rubbish. I have two dreamboxes and have no need to watch any rubbish that Sly push out to people. I am going to get all I can for free and stuff Sly and their extortion, who in their right mind would pay for constant repeats, not me? When you can get all that free stuff out thee, why should you pay a super rich family for sheer crap?

I would suggest that everyone who reads this go out and get a FTA box, get it patched and watch for free. DO NOT PAY A CENT FOR WHAT YOU WATCH, IT IS BEING FOOLISH IN THE EXTREME, COME JOIN US SATELLITE PIRATES AND VIEW FOR FREE.

That post is absolute nonsense, even if you pirate TV, what else is there to watch except sports, because the majority of TV in the English understanding world will be either American or British.

I never thought viewing Channel Five was paying for SKY but probably my logic of Free to View is totally flawed when did Newscorp buy out RTL or buy shares in Channel Five must of been very recent with 2 days I assume?

As if recent British detective shows aren't predictable, British Comedy is in a worst state than America i.e. My Family which is absolute nonsense funnelled out to mind numbed masses.

The Yanks are keen on shows that are good from Britian, which arent many that are not co productions with pay for cable stations or a PBS station like WGBH or Discovery Channel.

Carry on watching Eastenders, Corries, the endless talent shows, and the mind dumbing comedies like My Family and Green Green Grass.

And Ill carry on watching shows that are engaging, entertaining and well made.

Like Mad Men, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Scrubs, My Name is Earl, House etc.

Oh Dear, bad day at black rock, I too think Newscorp is wonderful, its there for the people, without profit motive.
I also think all the Murdochs are good, non profit driven,non own the world types.

Nasty little people trying to dodge paying for sky tv.

I would like to ask you one very interesting question, regarding the watching of Pay TV, it is just a very simple one to answer and should not be too difficult for you; have you ever watched, or would you every watch, Pay TV without a valid subscription? Just interested, because you seem to be very anti subscription dodging and I would like to know if you have had a bad experience whilst watching Pay TV? I, and the vast majority of those on here, have no problem with watching Pay TV without valid subscription, and I don't for the life of me understand just why you are so much against doing so.

Thanks Robbo, I would not have got involved, but I need to know where remlap is coming from. He seems to be very anti what the rest of us are all after, just can't understand why or for what reason he is so much for Sly and against the majority of the members of the forums. He might answer me, but I very much doubt it.

I very much like the title, but don't think that remlap will as he would not like to be thought of a ranting.
