Default old dish

i have an old motorised 105 dish that i used with pace 500. i want to know if i can use the dish and what i would need to upgrade the lnb on the old dish is anolouge, dont want to take the dish out as it cost a lot just need to see if i could upgrade

Hi lmb's are cheap on ebay, and so easy to fit, so no problem Its worth having a new 80cm dish minimum if old dish is in bad shape, also cheap.

Any universal LNB will be ok, unless your dish has its own feed horn, then you will need a C120 lnb.

Most receivers now are diseq, your dish has probably got an actuator, if you have been using it with a Pace 500.

You could use a V-box

The VBox XB is on about is a converter box which changes disecq commands on modern receivers to power old actuator type dishes.
