Ok, from what I have found... simply upgrading to the latest official firmware will do the trick

I was just having a look for educational purposes

But by the looks of it, the receiver has a USB port?

So the patches can be loaded using that.

This is how I understand it anyway:-

first it needs the latest official firmware

then a reset,

Then the patch software put on - MV-SV-2.47 ups

which includes an emulator module

It may also possibly need the channel list.-S4-DTT_HispChannelist.sdb

Yes it does, found the official firmware upgrade, upgraded and in that pack that I got was a patch.... installed it and installed a channel list and most of the channels work fine. Yay! Thanks guys

Also however, you could describe in a new post how it is done so that next time someone else asks, there will be a reference point.

coooldude, glad you seem to be sorted. Assuming you speak Spanish if you want those channels, so go to the spanish forum foros.zackyfiles.com where I have seen posts discussing TDT reception with Comag SL65 patches, but maybe they discuss Mvision as well. I don't really speak Spanish, BTW, so I can't translate if you don't
