HELP! with flashing eurovox max red and blue.

iam new to this site an forums so first of all i'd like to say hello to everyone on here. now to my problem

i have 2 eurovox max boxes which iam trying to flash one is a blue and one is a red i have downloaded the latest files from biqm*q toolbar which are dated 21/4/2008 for both boxes, now before you go on i have read ronstors guide for newbies (which is a good post i must say it help me a lot) and have updated 4 eurovox max v boxes with no problems using me null modem cable and the unified flash loader. but when i try to do the same with the eurovox max box it just detects the box when i click download and then press start it then goes to system reset and the box starts flashing download but then it just stays at 0% progress ive tryed turn it off and on when it say system reset but it makes no difference. and so now i just need to know wot iam doing wrong and any help from you guys will be great.

the red box i aint checked yet but off the top of me head its 2007 on it.

oh and as far as i know they are not clones. i have heard of a dnupman program but have read this the old method and also not to do it to the boxes now as the unified flash loader is the safer way but i could be wrong, but thats why iam here for you help. thanks

try flashing it with the june 07 firmware then upgrade it to the latest april 08
Or try using the feb 07 BIN file with dnupman you shouldnt have no probs then upgrade to the latest

thanks ronster for the quick responce, ive download the 2 update you have said off the bigm*c toolbar, and i now need to know how to use the file because when i click on it i just get vlc player come on, so i either aint got a program to run a bin file or theres somthing iam doing wrong, and also i need to know where to get this dnupman program and how to use it in nice plain simple english, iam ok around a computer so if it is explained to me well i should be able to follow the task well, cheers all the best

You Can download dnupman from bigmaqs tool bar under cable files- Set top box files - Eurovox boxes - Eurovox max - Blue box/red box. Save the file then extract it, there is a read me file contained within the zip which is straight forward.

get dnupman from the download section m8 then load the BIN file and flash
you cant open the file without dnupman!

thanks guys for your help the files were there as you said and it worked fine once i used the dnupman program 1st. and i then put the new software on later. everything is sweet for now. once again thanks
