I have being reading up on dreambox images and up-dating etc...
I would appreciate some info on the various images and the pros and cons of each.

Imho I would go for an Enigma based image, some prefer Nuetrino but I find Enigma based images more stable.

Enigma are more common and more stable, but Neutrino are easier to use if you're used to the D-box
