Hello

i have a technomate 5200 with 80cm dish and twin LNB. i aim for hotbird and astra. i can receive hotbird fine, but the astra signal level is always on 20%. thus no channel is received on astra. in addtion, does anyone know how to view the english speaking channels such as Discovery, HBO, CNN, etc?

Either the lnb isnt set up correctly or the disecq switching isnt set - from the sounds of it Hotbird is the default on port A - Astra 1 needs to be set on port B.

For many of the pay tv channels the only option if you want to watch them is to subscribe. If you can currently watch the TPS stuff on 13E make the most of it - its closing later in the year. Premiere on 19E is open on many boxes at the moment, but will be going secure at some point fairly soon
