hi guys i got a eurovox max 2008 wont come on tried a cheap tester on board power is there cap14 looks ok would appreciate someone having a look at it for me if possible tell me if its fixable or now a brick not been updated or anything went off about 5 weeks ago when on holiday kids werent happy lol.

Have a look here to check your cap mate Dead Eurovox. the top only has to be slighty raised to have blown. also it could need reflashing

hi thanks for the reply as i said the cap looks ok i cant flash the box as i only have a laptop.

You could buy a usb to rs232 so you could flash it that way

I live in oldham and have a laptop to upgrade if you want. Wot is the problem with your box do you have anything on the desplay. Just wondering wot makes you think upgrading it will work? or is it you just want to try maybe I could come and have a look if your not to far away. I m no expert but having a look won't do any harm.

there is no lights on the box at all no standby etc im near lees will pm you my no.

not being funny but have you checked the fuse in the wall plug side of the power cord

could do with trying another power board in my box before i order a new power board.
