Default digitalB

Still haven't got my dish...
I was told DigitalB moved transponders for sport so i would need a +90cm dish, think the wife would kill me if i stick a metre dish up!
Also told not to attempt self-install...
I'm in Barnsley sth yorks is a 1m dish really a requirement any tech heads out there?
I'd max at 90cm i think - the Raven mesh was looking tempting but i have also been advised to go solid????
FYI
Latitude = 53.5472, Longitude = -1.4543
Lat = 53 degrees, 32.8 minutes North
Long = 1 degrees, 27.3 minutes West
If you want to point a satellite TV dish at Satellite= 16 East orbit longitude

Dish elevation= 26.8, Azimuth= 162.3 (magnetic compass), Polarisation= -12.5

Hi mate,

I'm just north of you in wakey, and I had a 80cm dish up and had problems with 16 east. Now it was a self install but most the others where in line. The signal is pretty weak. I now use a 1m funke solid dish and it comes in clear and fine even in rain. You could install your self but wakefield satellite shop does an install for approx £120.00 in wakey (motorised install). So you might want to give them a call.

Installing a dish is fairly easy, have a read through the guides in Satellite FAQ's.
Are you going for a fixed dish or a motorized setup?

i'm going motorised, can't really put the dish in the garden tho and 1m dish on the house is a bit gruesome!!! might have to go for the 90cm solid raven and cross my fingers.....

i'm near wakefield more towards leeds and get it fine on a triax 90cm dish, i wouldn't buy a dish from that wakefield sat shop as they do them cheap and nasty iss dishes.

for a quality dish try brymar in leeds

You could try the yellow pages, not being funny, but it should be listed there, good luck with it.
