Starview 1
i updated a m8 of mines starview 1 box with the firmware that was released on the 10 april 2008 it all went fine said download successful but when i turned the box on and went to system information it said SW Version July 2007 the firmware which was on previously was from May 2007 i also noticed that they keys hadnt updated properly key 00 had a few digits which were wrong and i had to fix them manually to get all the channels working has anyone else tried the new firmware which was released for the starview 1? the box is definatley a geniunie one.

What was the name of the software? you should be using the Cryptstar 1.4 software (you can safely use clone software on clones and genuine) this file and the normal cryptstar work perfectly and au ok, they will probably show old version info tho as they are a patched version of the older software,
both fixes are from sunrise and 100% safe and working, Marc |
