What I find difficult to understand is that you said that the other people's dishes are pointing to the left of where yours is, when you are getting Astra1 you say that your dish is pointing to the left, which would seem to say that if you have your dish pointing to the left and is, as I would understand it, pointing the same direction as the other dishes, you are getting Astra1. I would have thought that if your dish is pointing the same way as the other dishes then you should be getting Astra 2, not 1.

Maybe your next pictures of the dish will show what you are trying to convey better. I hope that we can get you sorted and you are able to get Astra2 OK.

Very best regards Wez

at 28E it would be pointing at about the point of the window. so is there anything blocking the line of sight there?

It looked like a single story extension in the picture, but if its a 2 story then that would explain it. If this is so how he managed to get 19E I have no idea unless he has an X ray enabled LNB!

Why not try and get 19e again; if you align successfully to 19e then, from the back of the dish, 28e should only be one or two inches to the left; it is not likely that an obstruction to line of sight would have crept in at such short distance!
