Default line of sight

as iv said in a diff post im having trouble getting 28 East, iv called a local installer & he's coming to align my dish for me on wednesday. my question is im getting 19.2 East ok however how much line of sight do i need ie in meters cuz im thinking that i may have to move my dish to the front of the house as its facing the house at an angle. cuz i dont want him to charge me more then the agreed price if the line of sight isint enough.

thanks in advance.

Hi mate, the houses would need to be very close to you to have very much affect on your signal. have a look at the dishs that are pointing at Sly, Astra 2, and you will see what the true situation is.

Very best regards Wez

I'm a bit confused at what you are actually asking.

The whole of the dish needs to have line of site.

No idea

We need a picture, as there are two many variables.

btw its not currently aligned at any satellite, other ppls dishes are pointed to the left & i can get 19.2 East when its pointed to the left. also if i was to move my dish & wall bracket more to the right (higher up on the shed & closer to the fence) would that be any better ?

I take it that the dish is facing away from us.? Which sat is it roughly pointing at?

As far as I can tell, your house is behind the dish, so it is irrelevant.

The trees may be a problem depending on their height and distance, in which case, putting on the house higher up should fix it.
