Need help getting Sirius - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hello,
I have TM 5300 I live ind EAST england and I am using dish wich was installed before you can see it all most in every house black 60 cm but I only can see ASTRA sattelites english indian turkish channels I want to see Baltic channels what I need to watch them?I tried to move dish but strenght of signal on SIRIUS or Eurobird was the same help me plzzz,

The dish needs to be realigned onto Sirius 4 and scan the satellite. Be aware many of the Baltic channels are secure scrambled in NDS Videoguard.

one thing TM 5300D have many sattelites but it doesn have sirius 4 how can I add it ? Dish and head all right for catching signal from sirius 4 ? yesterday I was playing with dish I just move a little it and on ASTRA I start getting Poland german Holand and other channels but no english even BBC 1 have 65 percents but just black screen

You won't need to as far as i am aware as the transponder frequencies should still be the same as they were when it was just Sirius 2 & 3. You won't need to add them.

If you really want to change them you can use the upto date transponder list from the Technomate website.

Move the dish a bit at a time, and remember as you head towards 5E the elevation of the dish need raising a little.

I assume you are getting Astra 1 and Hotbird ok. In that case locate the easy catch of Eurobird 9 at 9E before going for Sirius 4 at 5E

Before searching, make sure you set your receiver to a good fta channel like Channel 5 (Ukraine) freq. 11766 H 27500.

How can I upload it to my TM5300d+ only with searial cable ? becouse I have laptop and its dificult to get serial if it's only one way can someone tell me were I can buy cable ?

You can buy a USB to Serial adapter, they are quite cheap, but check with other owners to see which works best with your receiver.
I have just done a search for your receiver and it states that you can upgrade using a Null modem cable or a USB memory stick, which might suit your needs.
