eurovox ultra, dreambox clone, how do i install new image

is there a dummies guide to installing a new image on the dreambox clone like mine, im a total novice and really need some help

Connect Ultra to PC using Nul Modem cable,install DreamUp on the PC.Pretty straight forward after that.If you need any more help let me know.

iv only got a laptop at the moment as iv blew up my pc.

however just watched the celtic game at the pub and a guy down there is going to flash it for me - cost me a round of drinks but not too much - although had to listen to him go on and on and on and on during the game, but at least we won and im getting my box fixed so all's well that ends well

You need an image, a copy of DreamUP and a null modem cable.

Disconnect the power cable from the Dreambox.

Connect the null modem cable to the Dreambox and PC/ laptop.

Start DreamUp on your PC and choose your connection COM1, COM 3

Press "Connect". When the Status shows: “connection prepared-now switch on the dreambox” put the mains plug in the socket.

If all is ok, you will see the progress/job bar turn blue.

the guy from the pub took the box but couldnt flash it for me, typical

im gonna try to flash it myself tonight, iv got dreamup but how do i chose what image i want to put on it? what iage is best? iv got v--g-n m---a if thats any help
