Ok, seems to me that the cam could be at fault! Think I’ll have a word with the supplier see what they think. I’ve tried everything I can think of, DVBViewer-view/cam blank. DVBDream-tools/CI-CAM console (set to active)/menu the module is present etc etc is greyed out. FireDTV Viewer-view/cam as in screenshot, although this is blank without the cam. MyTheatre- when starting says C.I.-slot empty, settings/common interface empty slot.
Any ideas anyone?

I would suggest reflashing the cam as it could be that the cam hasn't taken the flash properly. I had to flash my freextv 3 times before it would show up in the interface and when I tried to change the boxkey it wouldn't let me, but mine is working perfectly with the card so i'm not gunna mess with it by trying again.

if u want you can post me the cam with a return stamped addressed envelope and i'll see if i can put the joker firmware on it for u. however, if u haven't got a programmer necessary for doing ur card eg. an inf usb then u r going to have to get 1 of these. if that's the case u may aswell buy a cas 3+ interface which can do both jobs......ie flash the joker firmware to the cam and program a card. i'm pretty sure of this but check it can do both jobs if u r going to buy.

i done a few cams for members of other sites but for some reason some cams will not take the flash....it's recommended now to check with the retailer to check it will take the flash or if ur lucky to put the firmware on there for u.

did u get it from hisat?

cheers

I had to buy a cas3+ programmer which does do both cam and card. Have you tried flashing using a fun4 or fun5 card ? might be worth a try although mine didn't like it but flashed straight away with the cas3+ programmer.
